Examining the most racist statement in the bible

Salam!
In this article, we will be examining arguably the most racist statement from the entire bible.
Introduction:
Christians love to draw comparisons between the prophet Jesus from the NT, and the prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. They continuously claim that Jesus overall taught better ethical and moral principles in comparison to the prophet Muhammad. However, this is a faulty comparison. It is so because the prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, was a father, husband, head of state, ruler, and one involved in numerous wars throughout the course of his history, all of which Jesus was not. Hence, one cannot make the claim that Jesus teaches someone how to handle fatherhood, how to be a good husband, how to deal with state issues, and how to deal with wars. The majority of supposed Christian ethics are obtained from random proverbs and sayings of Jesus that come from the gosples, never from his example or directly as a result of the experiences of Jesus and how he handled certain situations.
Let’s put it this way. The Christians claim that Christian ethics include proper war conduct, including not killing savillians, or women and children. However, a lot of that comes from early Christian writers, as jesus hardly mentions what to do during times of war. However, the prophet, peace be upon him, though teaching the exact same thing as Christian ethics regarding war, was in several wars and still held to his teachings. So who would you rather accept advice from. Someone who gives you the advice, or someone who gives you the advice who has put it into practice completely? I’d rather go with the second.
However, let us now examine their biblical Jesus and see if he is all he’s hyped up to be.
The passage we will be examining is Matthew 15, verses 21-28.
The verses are here.
21.  Leaving that place, Jesus withdrew to the region of Tyre and Sidon.
22.  A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is demon-possessed and suffering terribly.”
23.  Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, “Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us.”
24.  He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.”
25.  The woman came and knelt before him. “Lord, help me!” she said.
26.  He replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”
27.  “Yes it is, Lord,” she said. “Even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.”
28.  Then Jesus said to her, “Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed at that moment.
Here are the key points we derive from this story.
Jesus went to Tyre and Sidon. While there, he encounters a Canaanite woman, who begs Jesus to heal her daughter of demon possession. Instead of doing so, Jesus flat out ignores her. When the disciples urge him to do something, he tells them that he has only been sent to the lost sheep of Israel. The woman persisted and knelt before him, continuing to beg for help. Jesus then calls her a dog. The woman accepts that she is a dog, to which Jesus then helps her.
There are several problems with this story in light of the Christian belief that 1, this man is their God, and 2, this man is infallible.
The first problem is that Jesus deliberately ignores someone begging for his help. Is this the behavior of a prophet of God who is also supposedly God incarnate?
The second is that he clearly states that he was only sent for Israel, and not to the gentiles. This is no excuse for a prophet of God to refuse help to someone. As muslims, we do believe that prophet Jesus, peace be upon him, was sent to the people of Israel. However, we do not believe he would refuse someone help even if they were not one of those people.
And lastly, he calls her a dog.
This is a degrading and racist “Metaphor.” . Jesus compares the people of Israel to children, and compares this woman, who is a gentile, to a dog. This clearly establishes that the gentiles, who are dogs, are inherently infirior to the jews. Because of this inherent infiriority, they will be delayed in receiving sustenance. Jesus delays her daughter’s healing until she recognizes this fact.
There you have it, christians! this is proof that your God was a racist who views gentiles as inherently infirior and subhuman in comparison to jews.
Ansering objections:
Now let’s get into some objections. Of course, none of them hold any water!
Objection: Jesus wasn’t being racist, rather he was testing the woman’s faith.
Answer: This is the most common objection to this argument. However, the only issue with it is that there is no proof that this was the true intention of jesus. Rather, if this was his true intention, why did he not voice it to the disciples when they urged him to do something about the woman? He could have made it clear to them that he is testing her faith, rather he clearly tells them that he was not sent for her, and only for the people of Israel.
Objection: Jesus did end up healing her daughter. The woman didn’t leave the altercation mad or offended, rather she went away happy since her daughter was healed.
Answer: A couple of problems with this. First, this does not take away from the racist statements made by the biblical Jesus. Regardless of whether or not Jesus helped her, he still called her a dog. If I called an African american man a dog, then helped him, it would not retract from the fact that I degraded him based on his race.
Secondly, from the woman’s perspective, it is completely understandable why she accepted her status as a dog and did not voice the fact that she was offended.
As a parent, one would do anything in the universe if it means their child would be healed. For me as someone who wants to be a parent in the near future, I can tell you that if my child was sick and I knew a man could heal her, I would allow him to call me all kinds of racial slers and degrade me without saying a word if it means my child gets better. This is a sentament shared by the vast majrority of parents, particularly the ones who have deep love for their children, as this woman clearly did.
Objection: The Greek word Jesus used for dog does not refer to rabbid dogs, rather it refers to housepets, or puppies.
Answer: This is frankly irrelevant. The fact that Jesus still compares the gentile woman to a dog, regardless of how clean or domesticated it is, in comparison to jews who are children, is still degrading the woman on account of her race.
Objection: The quran says that the disbelievers are the worst of creation, quran 98:6. The quran also uses the same language in quran 7:176, and the quran calls the jews apes in quran 2:65. How are you one to talk?
Answer: Let’s deal with these one by one and see that none of them are analogous to what we find in the biblical account.
1. Worst of creation.
Here is the verse.
6. Those who disbelieve among the People of the Scripture, and the Polytheists, will be in the Fire of Hell, where they will abide forever. These are the worst of creatures.
The reason this is nowhere near analogous to what wee find the biblical Jesus doing is because the quran is refering to those who disbelieve in Allah and his prophets, particularly his last prophet. This degrading is done because of the actions of the disbelievers, but the degrading done by the biblical Jesus is on account of the woman being a gentile, something she cannot control.
2. Quran 7:176 calls people dogs:
Let’s analyse the verses in context.
175. And relate to them the story of him to whom We delivered Our signs, but he detached himself from them, so Satan went after him, and he became one of the perverts.
176. Had We willed, We could have elevated him through them; but he clung to the ground, and followed his desires. His metaphor is that of a dog: if you chase it, it pants; and if you leave it alone, it pants. Such is the metaphor of the people who deny Our signs. So tell the tale, so that they may ponder.
Again, this is not analogous to the biblical Jesus calling a gentile a dog, as this person in the verse is being called a dog because of their actions, and not at all on account of their race.
3. Quran calls jews apes?
Again, let us analyze the particular verses in context.
63. And recall when We received a pledge from you, and raised the Mount above you: “Take what We have given you earnestly, and remember what is in it, that you may attain righteousness.”
64. But after that you turned away. Were it not for Allah’s grace and mercy towards you, you would have been among the losers.
65. And you surely knew those of you who violated the Sabbath. We said to them, “Be despicable apes!”
66. Thus We made it a deterrent for their generation, and for subsequent generations, and a lesson for the righteous.
Again, nothing to do with their race, but rather their actions. Also, another thing to point out is that the quran is not calling all jews apes, whereas the biblical Jesus is establishing that gentiles have a certain inherent inferiority in comparison to jews.
Conclusion and the Islamic perspective:
In islam, there is no such racist metafore ascribed to the gentiles by our prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. This is what he says about racism.
Musnad Ahmad 22978:
There is no favor of an Arab over a foreigner, nor a foreigner over an Arab, and neither white skin over black skin, nor black skin over white skin, except by righteousness.
And this is what the one true God, in the gloious quran, says.
Quran 4:135, O you who believe! Stand firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even if against yourselves, or your parents, or your relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, Allah takes care of both. So do not follow your desires, lest you swerve. If you deviate, or turn away—then Allah is Aware of what you do.
Quran 30:22, And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the diversity of your languages and colors. In this are signs for those who know.
Quran 49:13 O people! We created you from a male and a female, and made you races and tribes, that you may know one another. The best among you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous. Allah is All-Knowing, Well-Experienced.
The one true God, the one who revealed the glorious quran, does not think that you are a dog. You are a slave of Allah, and there is no better honor or rank. So serve him willingly, and leave the god who views you as a dog.
